This is just fantastic.
Coming from the school district we came from in ohio I have been super impressed with the horry county district. My son goes to the primary school, there is also an elementary, an intermediate, a middle school and a high school.
One really cool thing about these schools, they are all on the same property. Today, Tre graduated from Kindergarten and we couldn’t be more impressed with the kids we saw today. 70% of the kindergarteners were in shirts/tie/suit for graduation, the rest were in very nice dress clothes and a polo-ish shirt. I only saw two of the children in t-shirts. I must say, even at grade K these parents are setting the bar for their kids, the education system and the level of pride in hard work very high. This makes me very happy.
Another thing the district has done that I think is just awesome, they have a logo. It’s a pirate. Each school has the same pirate as they are all seahawks. Each school’s logo get’s a little older and more aggressive looking as the school holds older kids. GENIUS!!

My brother and sister-in-law are missionary’s in Mexico. We recently talked about donations and how to get people to do it. I said make it easy.
There are people in this world that are smarter than you. Shocker I know. There has been massive amounts of research done on user interfacing, psychology of buyers, what makes people click and follow through with buying products or whatever. Take what they say and use it. They are smart people.
If your online store is struggling with abandoned cart syndrome you can benefit from this. (people put items in their cart, then leave before checkout is complete). You should be tracking this, as well as WHERE in the checkout process they bail. Do you have a 13 page payment form? I bet you do.
To process creditcards all that’s really required is Card number, billing zip and security code. You know what card it is by the first 4 card numbers, you should incorporate this in your code, don’t make people click more than needed. You also know if they filled in the security code and it passed auth, they have the card in hand, it’s not a stolen number. Not even those ATM skimmers that steal your card number and pin are cool enough to get the security code. It’s on the bottom of the card silly.
Also, if your asking for CITY, STATE AND ZIP, don’t ask for country. This drives me nuts, how many countries have city and states?
Better yet, if your asking for ZIP why do you need city/state? Incorporate that in your code as well you lazy people.
Here is a mockup I sent my bro, to show him what I was talking about.
My creditcard form I use for sites I build.

The form his people use to process donations.
